Women in Science 2024
Women in Science 2024
The Women in Science – Erlangen Symposium is designed to be a platform for female scientists from all over the world. It was a pleasure to participate in planning the Women in Science – 3rd Erlangen Symposium (July 22-24, 2024) at the Department of Chemistry and Pharmacy at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.
We are delighted, that more than 140 scientists from various career stages attended the 3rd edition of the symposium. Over the course of three days, top-class female scientists from various research fields (such as organic chemistry, computational chemistry, catalysis, materials science and many others) not only presented their research results, but also reported and discussed their professional careers and personal experiences in academia and/or industry. All participants, from undergraduate students to senior professors, had the opportunity to discuss science and build new networking connections and collaborations.
Abstracts
The abstracts of all talks and posters are included in the “Book of Abstracts” and can be downloaded as pdf-file.
